Its a mini-album recording your daily memories capturing the spirit of December. Bring it out with your decorations each year and remember Christmases past. Jane's Days 11, 12, 13 and 14


Day 11


 A couple of quick easy pages following my set pattern.


I did get a bit creative by doodling stars on the journal card.

Day 13


Today I had to put my thinking cap on to work out how to include several unconnected photos. I decided to make a little flap book using parchment as the front and back covers - only the back cover and the bottom photo goes into the album pocket.


I stamped the tree, holly border and greeting and then added some glittery washi tape and gems.


I glued the photos to a piece of ribbon and then folded them concertina style.  I journalled on the back of each photo to remind me what it was about.


 I left a length of ribbon at the top to pull the photos up. I then realised the photo strip would fall out when the album was picked up so I added a  ribbon tied paperclip to hold it in place.


Day 14


There was nothing much happening today so I decided to feature some of the candle lit decorations round my house.


I found a little candle poem for my journalling and doodled a bit with black and gold pens.

    Jane, this really is looking fabulous. Love your little bits of "doodling" on the cards and love the book you have created on the 13th to hold the photos.

    Oooh - all I could see is the 'chocolaterie'!!! What an amazing window.. oooh what delights it would hold!! YUM! Love your little flip book all tied down with a fab little paper clip. Thats such a great solution to hold many photos.

      Thanks Mandy. Have to say the sugary chocolates look more appealing, but the sugarfree taste just as good.
