WE'RE DOING DECEMBER! Whether you pre-plan your December Daily or create as you go along in the Christmas month; make your own covers or decorate ready-made ones, use Project Life style with plastic sleeves and pockets or create your own pages. Maybe you havent made one before and ask 'I cant think what I'd fill a page with everyday?' We'll help with that! Whatever your style we'd love to see it! Here you will find a seasonal blog open from 1st November to 31st January each year. We hope that this will become a wonderful resource of sharing, prompts and inspiration. What is a December Daily? Its a mini-album recording your daily memories capturing the spirit of December. Bring it out with your decorations each year and remember Christmases past. Scroll down on the right side bar and you will find past December Daily albums of each Designer. Check their 'journey' link too, this will give you some great tips and scroll a little further down and you will see the albums categorised into types for easier searching :) Now - 'Let's December Daily'!

Design Team Introduction - and Sneak Peeks

Design Team Introductions
and some sneak peeks!

Every few days during the month of November, we will share with you our December Daily stories, journey and thoughts.   As with past experience, sometimes when creating covers and pages... weeeeell.... sometimes it might not always work out or on the other hand, works out terrifically!
Yes, we too experience it all!
Below is a little information on each design team member who share a few thoughts as they begin their 2016 December Daily journey and a  little bit of a sneak peek at covers!

--------------------------------------------
At last November has arrived, and  the planning of our December Daily's has started!
This is my eighth December Daily and excitedly I look forward to this year's too!.
My covers are different with the use of wood painted black. I've always wanted to do black and white photos with a pop of colour, so this is the plan. The pages will also be hand made and hope to use transparencies too.  But I'm not always great at sticking with plans because my album usually evolve as it goes along and I tend to lose focus of what was the vision in the beginning....
lets see the plan can be stuck to!!! aha!

Here's a little snippet:

I'm really looking forward to creating what will be my 6th December Daily.  This year I will be creating a December Daily I have wanted to do for quite a long time, but have been holding back for a number of reasons, the main one being.....can I bring myself to do it?
I am altering a Little Golden Book owned since a child.  I was hesitant to use it, not wanting to "destroy" something I had for so long, yet knowing full well the book would still be sitting away in a cupboard and not being enjoyed. But I am now quite comfortable with its renewed purpose.  The pages are quite fragile with beautiful illustrations which I would like to keep as the "centre of attention".  Keeping this in mind,  the plan is to add in some clean and simple pages so as not to distract from these lovely pictures.

Here's a sneaky peek.....

I'm super delighted to be back at Let's December Daily again this year. This will be my second year on the DT at Let's December Daily, but the sixth album I've created.
I've been busy gathering and planning my 2016 supplies and this year my album is going to be a mix of digital, paper and stamping which I believe is called 'hybrid'. There will also be the use of plastic wallets in a PL style album.  I can't wait to reveal everything, but for now here's a little peep at part of my cover.

This year we sadly say farewell Bec

Bec created for us from 2013 to 2015
We will miss her friendship and creativity

and wish her much luck and happiness
in her new plans for the future!

Soooooo, in turn,  we have  a warm WELCOME to extend to  Lizzy
Eeek! Feeling a little overwhelmed at being in such illustrious company
and only doing my 2nd ever December Daily.
But hoping this will give YOU the confidence to give it a go. It
would be lovely to have company as I stumble my way through
the process! My aim is to USE that out of control Christmas stash of
scrapbooking goodies that I seem to have acquired.
Hmmmn. Can I do it?
I hope so! I'm a keen recycler and up-cycler. So even the book
I'm using has been bought from an op shop - that would be a
charity shop in England, or a junk shop in other countries.
Here's a sneak:
Pssst! I wonder if you can guess what the trees are made from?
I'll tell you as our journey continues!!!
