I hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas Day and ate heaps!!! ;)
Here is my Day 19 which was a very hot day here so hence the photo of the windows all covered up to stop the sun and heat and a screen shot of the impending weather that day.
We also went and had a look at our new Costco store. I think it's only the second one in Victoria. There are some photos of things that we haven't seen before like the 10kg block of chocolate and the 5kg jar of Nutella with my dad next to it for comparison. AND the yummy American Pizza which I just love!
Although this isn't Christmas-sy, it is documenting what we did that day in December.

On the left is the yummy treats we had on the hot day, the temperature in the car and a swim in the pool to cool off.
On the 20th we did the same thing..........in the pool to cool off and an easy dinner of Hungry Jacks, while hubby snored after his big last day at work.
Again not Christmas-sy, but this is what we did on the day.

And now the Christmas-sy photos. Day 21 on the left are the end result of playing with my new toy that I got for Christmas. A Silhouette Cameo. Some vinyl cutouts on glasses. The journal tag was from a kit and I fed it through the typewriter to journal on it.
On the right is a shot of Santa on the fire truck, which is a tradition in Australia as we are in Summer, they use the Fire Trucks to parade Santa. The bottom photo is of a little dog that was sitting on our doorstep and entered the house when the door was opened. Again, more journalling using the typewriter, about the dramas we had with finding this little ones home.
I journalled on the card that the photo is attached to and a manila tag that tucks in the back behind the card.
Day 23 and it was Gingerbread House making day!! This is the favourite tradition leading up to Christmas. The top 2 photos are sharing a number which I glued onto the photos as they lay side by side and then cut it up the middle to separate.
The end of Day 23 ended with looking at Christmas lights. Another tradition of ours that my children thoroughly enjoy.
I hope you've enjoyed my pages and it inspires you to finish your DD albums.
