Can you believe Christmas is almost here........a little less than a week to go. Time sure does fly by. I have a couple more pages of my December Daily to show you.
DEC 14th and 15th..............I combined these two days with a series of photos I took over the weekend. We had our grandchildren stay with us for most of this weekend and when I sorted through the photos I had taken, I picked out the better ones I wanted to put in their own albums that I keep for them and there were quite a few "not so good" ones that I was about to delete but they told a story of how much fun we had. So those were the ones for my December Daily. My journaling can be put across the top of the page here........I've added my dated circles as a flower centre and it's a bit hard to see here but I have outlined and dotted the centres with stickles for some sparkle.
DEC 16........Firstly I've attached a little pocket to my page just simply glueing the 3 sides down and then covered the pocket with the photos. Along with the journaling tag, the pocket can hold some more photos cut in the shape of tags with a little hole punched in the top for some twine. The white lace I used has been dabbed with some green paint.
Here's the little pocket...............
Earlier on, I thought I would have a go at making a little angel to use somewhere in my December Daily. So with a few little bits and pieces.........a square of patterned paper, some twine, a button with 2 holes (the holes are the eyes and then added a nose and mouth with a pen), some stickles and some lace...........
I cut the square from the bottom to a centre point at the top and tied a knot in some of the twine.
added some stickles to the cut off side bits, glued the twine at the back to form arms and added some lace to the bottom of the dress..............
Tied a few strands of twine together in the middle and unravelled it for the hair and glued it to the button.......
Glued on the cut off glittered side bits to form the wings and added some string to the back of her head. She made a perfect "topper" for my journaling tag. I might just make another one to hang off the binding rings of my album when it's finished.
